      I do not really have any preferences on what we can study, because I am not yet familiar with what the course can offer. Although, it would be very useful for me to learn how to create a linguistic corpus.

Dear All, today you are going to get acquainted with an online collection of open access journals ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_access_journal ) in linguistics. Your task will be to do the following: 1. Choose one of the jourmals with open access from them directory at  http://doaj.org/ . 2. To complete this course you need to write a brief literature review on the topic of your course paper. It should be based on the discussion of 3-4 articles you have collected for your course paper and contain 600-650 words. You should demonstrate your understanding of the topic area your course paper is devoted to and the connection between various sources you have chosen to review.
